Manifestation VI - Two Right Hands in the Attic

Apologies for the delayed post, but life got in the way.

I would have posted this video earlier but I didn't have access to my computer for a few days. My great aunt Ellis (she liked to be called Eli) died last Wednesday and I had to attend the funeral. I never really knew Eli very well, but I think her death is actually affecting me more than I'm willing to admit to myself. I could have sworn I saw the Watcher at the funeral. Of course, that's not true, but I think my grief and sleep deprivation are getting to me.

But I digress.

I won't bore readers with my life story, there's already enough of that crap on the internet as it is. I have discovered the methods and conditions for the Watcher in my attic. This manifestation shares much in common with the previous one, which leads me to believe they are related in some way I have yet to fully discover.

Conditions:
1. Staircase made of wood.
2. Ambient temperature between 62 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Exactly 4:44am.

Methods:
1. Stand on last rung of the wooden staircase (in this case the ladder into the attic).
2. Look east, but keep your feet facing north (footwear doesn't seem to matter for this one).

Much like the last example, the specific time is quite odd. Once again, I called on my friend Larson to check in his home and sure enough the time has to be exactly 4:44am local time. This continues to baffle me. I experimented further by asking Larson to change all of the clocks in his home to two hours ahead (including his wristwatch) to see when the hands would manifest. They appeared at the "actual" 4:44am (so the clocks read 6:44am). His wristwatch, though, stopped at 4:44 and much to his chagrin hasn't worked since that morning.

He says I owe him a watch. I told him it was a sacrifice for science.

The video itself is mostly unremarkable except for the figure in the far left at around 0:30-0:45. Although its face is half cut off by the framing of the camera, I can clearly see that familiar stare.

I don't remember why I concluded this one was mildly dangerous.

Note: Larson tells me that he tried manifesting the Hand in the Attic again, but the time it appeared was 4:44am and not 5:55am like I reported previously. I will make the change in the instructions to reflect this new information.

4:44

I haven't been sleeping well lately. This isn't very unusual, though. I've spent most of my free time experimenting with the Watcher in the attic.

I have actually finally found out the methods necessary and will have a video to post about that very soon...hopefully tomorrow morning. Anyways, I don't like posting without providing content (then this blog would turn into little more than a live journal of meaningless rants and Aimspeak) so I am uploading a picture to go along with this message.

The inconclusive phenomenon I described earlier with my digital clock has changed slightly. Now, under observation, it aligns to 4:44am.

I also noticed that the mysterious post-that-won't-delete has been tagged with "mirrors". I wonder what's going on? Maybe I should be frightened, but at the moment I'm very curious what will happen next.

My first priority is getting the Watcher in the attic onto video for the world to see.

Edit: It seems this post has also been tagged with mirrors.

Manifestation V - The Hand in the Attic

This one was discovered accidentally and frankly it startled me when I first saw it. I had set up my camera to do some more research in my attic when I heard this horrible sound. Some odd things to note, I hadn't started the camera recording but nonetheless recorded this. The camera recording by itself is not too weird, these investigations have tempered me for a lot worse, but there is one thing I can't get out of my head. That damned face in the lower left.

Just staring.

The video tearing is not completely in the camera. In person, the region showing the visual artifacts has a sort of haziness to it. The best analogy I can come up with is the sensation of seeing something out of the corner of your eye, yet looking directly at it.

Conditions:
1. Staircase made of wood (my friend in Larson tried with a metal staircase to no avail)
2. Ambient temperature between 60 and 65 degrees Fahrenheit.
3. Exactly 5:55am.

Methods:
1. Wear a single black dress shoe on your right foot (This is the weirdest method I've come across, I was removing my shoes during the first appearance).

A note on the conditions, I have no idea why 5:55am is so specific in this case. It seems that it doesn't matter what time zone one's in, at 5:55am local time, the conditions are met for this manifestation. I confirmed this with my previously mentioned friend from Larson who is in the Central time zone. The choosiness leads me to believe that a will may be exerting some form of control on this one. I know it's a crazy idea and I usually avoid baseless conjecture, but the Watcher seemed to show preference to certain objects and I can't conclusively say this is not the same or at least a closely connected apparition.

This leaves me very excited about my work with the Watcher in the attic.

Manifestation IV - The Watcher of the Chair

This is the first one with the Watcher that I've recorded. Most of the leg work in analyzing the conditions for this one came to me as a result of a chance encounter with an old friend who I used to do some charity work with.

The story's long and a bit boring so I'll jump ahead. She told me about the Watcher from a series of inquiries she was doing into local ghost stories. I think she was writing a collection of short stories based on local folk tales, but I honestly don't remember at this point. Anyways, she told me about the story of a family haunted by this entity that tended to observe them in a non-threatening manner.

Of particular interest to it were apparently cans, chairs, and screen doors.

A few months of research and the following was found.

Conditions:
1. Night time.
2. Yellow light.
3. Near houses with living residents.

Methods:
1. Place a metal can or chair in the middle of an open space (e.g. a road)
2. Wait for natural movement.

Now, I know method 2 is a bit vague, so I'll clarify. The Watcher seems to manifest when living observers are distracted by peripheral movement. This can range from billowing trees to cars in the distance. The materialization usually occurs during this lapse. Of course, with the video camera the appearance is no less mysterious.

This is the first humanoid manifestation I've come across that has a preference for certain objects. This raises a number of interesting questions about the nature of these manifestations. What, for instance, do these phenomena represent? Are they ghosts in the traditional sense? The Watcher seems to be very person-like. I always assumed that these things were natural phenomena (still do), just a little outside of our current understanding.

I like indulging in philosophical conundrums every now and then, but the fact of the matter is that my area of expertise is the research and cataloging of conditions and methods, not reasons and motivations.

Inconclusive - Digital Clock

Here's a strange one that has started occurring to me in the last few days. That being said, I've not had enough time to fully test this one out, if it in fact turns out to be a legitimate manifestation. Right now it is just an odd occurrence.

My digital clock has been resetting itself lately. After being watched for a good 30 seconds or more it will change the time display to 5:55am. I really have no idea why this is happening. Frankly, it is annoying because of the time I've wasted trying to set the clock to the correct time.

Here's the information I know about this oddity, hopefully someone out there can help me explain this one.

1. The clock resets itself to 5:55am after being observed for 30-40 seconds.
2. When videotaped, an odd pattern can be seen on the wall behind the clock after the clock resets (this is not always visible otherwise, see below for details).
3. If left at 5:55am, the clock does not advance.
4. If the clock reads 5:55am and it actually is 5:55am then the pattern on the wall is visible without the camera's viewfinder.

This is what I get...

This is what I get for leaving my computer alone with auto-complete on. I don't appreciate being filmed without my knowledge, joke or not. I'll delete the post later.

Update: Well, the post doesn't seem to want to be deleted.
